Regular price $29.99

Water Base Graphite Conductive Paint. Use to create copper electroformed creations.  Cu Electroforming Starter Kits are available too!

*PLEASE NOTE: This is different than the alcohol based graphite paint that is also offered in the shop*

2oz Water Base Graphite Conductive Paint for Electroforming:

  • Water based graphite conductive paint (optional add on for a set with a clear polyurethane lacquer for sealing organics and gemstones)
  • Stir very well before each use, do not violently shake
  • Brush, dip, or spray on
  • Thins with Distilled Water (NOT tap or bottled) Do not over thin your paint! It will decrease conductivity
  • 2 oz jar
  • Wear protective gloves
  • Apply 2 - 3 coats, 10 to 20 min between each coat of paint
  • Use a sealant or lacquer before applying paint to organic and porous items
  • 24 hour cure time
  • Cleans with soap and water

* Thoroughly stir conductive paint from the bottom of the jar until smooth
Conductive particles will settle again within 8-12 hours, so stir well each time before using this paint.
Do not vortex or violently agitate/shake the paint jar, as air entrapment or foaming may cause separation.

Only use with solution that is for electroforming! Graphite conductive paint does not work when using solution that is labeled "Copper Sulfate II", which is just water and copper sulphate and is NOT FOR ELECTROFORMING! Follow instructions included, and contact me if you're experiencing issues for troubleshooting.
